‘This is a blog to record my adventures in the wild.’
Charlotte is a freelance writer and editor. She has contributed articles to a variety of publications on topics ranging from wild swimming and urban exploring to feminism. She is currently Executive Editor for Poetical Word and is copy-editing for the online publication, Why Magazine. Why Magazine examines the issues faced today by young people struggling to find employment, a position that Charlotte understands well. Her work with Poetical Word has inspired her to take up poetry writing again (a habit she dropped after she was through with her angst-ridden teenage years) and she hopes to be able to perform some of her work soon.
Charlotte enjoys exploring new areas; the urban decay of cities or the natural beauty of the countryside. Her posts are full of the unusual, hidden, absurd or wild aspects of places. She loves photographing beautiful landscapes and so this blog is peppered with her own photos. Charlotte refuses to underestimate the value of adventures that do not necessarily involve long travel or much expense. Whilst her blog covers exotic adventures in faraway lands, it also highlights some exciting places and activities right here in the UK. She hopes that you can enjoy reading about her adventures and be inspired to have your own wild days!

I used to go on summer vacations to Crosby to visit my great aunts.
